Dealing with problems and exceptions takes a great deal of your resources. isisOne Alerts are a tool that helps to resolve problems quickly.
When something goes wrong, the most likely sequence of events is a phone call or email to a colleague. What should be easy to correct often takes much longer than it should: missed calls, voice-mail, requests for more detail / copies of documents … it all takes too much time.

Got a problem with an invoice? with a couple of clicks, create an Alert for the appropriate member of the Sales team. From their screen, they view the Alert and immediately see the problem (and a link to the invoice!), and take remedial action right away.
With email, you have to explain the problem to your colleague - give them a document reference (or even multiple references). Your colleague has to search through the system, confirm that they're talking about the same thing - then resolve the problem - THEN communicate back what they've done.
With an isisOne Alert, all of the relevant information is right there in front of them, when they close the Alert you see exactly what they've done on your screen.
