It is vital that your sales people are talking to, and quoting your potential clients in exactly the same terms that your support people are. Use of part numbers ensures a consistent approach to the way your products are entered in to all parts of the system.
Part number definitions are designed to be simple and clear and provide staff and customers with the most useful information possible about your products and services. There is even space to record a product's retail bar code number so that you can print your own bar code labels.
Serial Numbering
Full serial number control is a fundamental design consideration for isisOne. From the moment a serial number is first entered into isisOne, a full audit trail of that item's movements becomes available. Delivery Notes, Sales Invoices, Help Desk and Maintenance Contracts all connect to the serial number data, to provide full traceability.
As soon as an item of equipment is returned to your office, or even examined on-site by an engineer - isisOne provides a full history of when it was purchased, is the warranty has expired, if it is covered by a support contract, plus history of previous problems.
